WHY TIFERET?

Community and Relationships. Tiferet is the ONLY seminary in Israel where all administrators, teachers and Rakezot live within walking distance of the campus. Located in the Religious-Zionist community in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Tiferet is more than just a school. It is a community. Living nearby, enables the teachers to be much more involved in the students lives and religious growth and provide unprecedented personal attention. Whether it’s to shmooze, to seek advice, to ask questions or to learn in Chavruta, Tiferet teachers only live minutes away. That’s why it is not uncommon to find students with teachers in the Beit Midrash early in the morning, during lunch break or late in the evening after Night Seder. All of the Tiferet staff consistently open their homes to their students. Whether it’s an informal Shiur, Vaad, Chug, BBQ or Shabbat or Chag meal, the teachers home is an extension of the Tiferet campus. Since Tiferet never closes, you are always welcome to stay in Tiferet for Shabbat or Yom Tov and join your teachers for meals. The proximity of the teachers promotes the renown Tiferet warmth. It gives the student a feeling that they are not just in a school where teachers come to teach a class and leave but part of a community and a family. The relationships forged in the year at Tiferet will last a lifetime. That is why Tiferet alumnae can always rely on their Tiferet family for guidance, support, advice or to answer their questions in Halacha or Hashkafa.
