A YEAR TO LAST A LIFETIME

“I love my Rakezet! We go to her house for Chug every Tuesday night and we meet once a week and constantly checks in to see how I’m doing and help me reach my goals.

Zahava Chefitz Potomac, Maryland

I never imagined how powerful my Davening could be. I am connecting to my Davening much more deeply. It’s not just saying words. It’s making Hashem a real and constant presence in my life.

Tamar Israel Silver Spring, Maryland

I never heard anyone say anything bad about Tiferet. Now I know why! The teachers are unbelievable, the Tiyulim are epic, the campus is beautiful and the girls are exactly the kind I want to spend my year with. Everyone is happy and with good reason.”

Rina Melamed Los Angeles, California

The learning in Tiferet is intense. I wasn’t prepared for much my classes would challenge me intellectually. It has taken my love and appreciation of Torah to a whole new level.

Yaffa Shekhter Hollywood, Florida

The classes in Tiferet have blown me away. The teachers are brilliant, inspiring and relatable. I walk out of every class with a new perspective and a deeper understanding. I’ve never learned on such a high level.

Hannah Marill Silver Spring, Maryland

The culture of Tiferet is like no other - you notice it the moment you walk in - everyone is happy, friendly and motivated to get as much out of year as they can.

Rachel Rubinstein Teaneck, New Jersey

Tiferet students come from all over. East Coast, West Coast, Mid-West, Canada, England, Switzerland and Australia. But we all mesh together because we all have the same mindset and goals.

Rivka Scharf London, England

I had six Chavrutas with teachers. We learned the topic of my choice and I now have the skills and confidence to learn on my own.

Shira Rosenblum Melbourne, Australia
Tiferet is a Religious-Zionist school that aims to give its students an all-encompassing Israel experience that appeals to the mind, body and soul. Our objective is to create an experience that maximizes all that the year in Israel has to offer. With a beautiful campus in a close-knit community, we have created a warm and comfortable environment where our students can focus on building a closer connection to Torah, Am Yisrael, Eretz Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael.

WHY TIFERET?

Lifelong Relationships
Tiferet is the only Midrasha where all the teachers live within walking distance of the school. Living close to the campus makes it easier to learn in Chavruta with teachers and to pop in to shmooze. This combined with our teachers’ homes always open for Shabbat or Yom Tov meals, Vaad or Chug creates the hallmark warmth of Tiferet; an unparalleled close knit community of teachers and students.

Inspiring and Dynamic Teachers
Being in Ramat Beit Shemesh, home to most teachers of Yeshiva’s and Seminaries, Tiferet has its pick of the the most amazing, brilliant and inspiring teachers and Rabbis. Our All-Star staff make a long day of intensive learning feel way too short. Best of all, is that there are no once-a-week classes at Tiferet. There are many opportunities to learn formally and informally from these very special Rabbis and teachers. They will become your mentors for life!

Shiurim that Blow Your Mind and Ignite Your Soul
With over 70 challenging classes to choose from and four to five options per class, our biggest complaint is not being able to take every single class! All of our high level Shiurim utilize a lot of text and critical analysis. Additionally, you will leave every class inspired and empowered religiously and with a powerful lesson to stimulate your spiritual and personal growth.

Chesed +
Chesed at Tiferet isn’t just once a week. Being in a community affords Tiferet students opportunities to be involved in Chesed several days of the week. In fact, some of the close relationships Tiferet students forge are with their Chesed families!

Your Home Away from Home
Tiferet is more than just a seminary, it’s your home in Israel. Feeling at home allows you to acclimate quickly and “get into it” right away. It enables an organically interactive and comfortable classroom environment so that you can get the most out of your learning. Homesickness? You don’t feel homesick when you feel at home.

Reputation
Tiferet students are known for their wonderful Midot, Derech Eretz, friendliness, respect and warmth. This reputation is well deserved and one of the many reasons so many make Tiferet their top choice.
Tiferet is a homogenous group of students whom have chosen to not be in the “scene” in Yerushalayim all the time. Instead, Tiferet students have chosen to immerse themselves in a strong religious growth culture and an inviting, warm and welcoming environment.

Stress Free
Your “Year in Israel” should be a year where you can focus on what you are there to do: learn, grow, experience and forge lifelong relationships. At Tiferet, we feel that nothing should distract you from your goals. Worrying about finding places to go for Shabbat, Sukkot vacation or Pesach break, tests and exams, finding a meaningful and memorable Yamim Noraim and Purim Seuda, being in an environment of likeminded girls who are equally serious, motivated, warm and friendly, falling in between the cracks; none of these exist in Tiferet.

Torah

Tiferet’s warmth isn’t just from the top down but from the bottom up.
